Thanx to the Dctrs on RealSelf for their helpful replies to my questions. I want to know if the impression/mold of my original teeth belongs to me. I would like to keep the original mold because if something happened to my crowns in the future, a dentist would be able to see what my original teeth were like and make new sets from the original mold/impression. We travel a lot and live in different countries for a period of time, so I may not be able to see my original dentist. Thanks in advance.

No it is not normal to have tooth grinding after the insertion of a crown or filling many times this is an indication the restoration may need an adjustment, or your TMJ may be not functioning in its proper position.
