Keloids around areola
Sometimes keloids form around the areola. If this happens steroid injections may help or scar revision and careful treatment with silicone sheeting, etc.. Check with your doctor.

Keloids after surgery
A quick and easy solution is to start with a steroid injection by your plastic surgeon or dermatologist. These are not the steroids you hear about on TV with athletes trying to get stronger but rather like the steroids you would rub on a rash. Side effects are usually minimal but first discuss this with the surgeon who operated on you.
