Is AFT Pulsed Light Treatment Effective in the Removal of Sun Spots if You Have Olive Complexion?

I am a 34 year female who's skin shows some wrinkles and can sometimes be prone to breakouts. I am debating between having AFT Pulsed Light treatment vs. Skin Tx Hyperpigmentation system to remove the sun spots from my face. I was told that AFT Pulsed Light treatment may darken the sun spots on my face, not making me a good candidate. Please, clarify!
