AFT Pulsed Light or IPL for Spots, Rosacea, Fine Lines?

My goal is to improve skin tone (brown spots/sun damage and redness due to rosacea) as well as skin texture (pores) and fine lines.

These are the same thing.

AFT and IPL are essentially the same technology, but different manufacturers like to have their own catchy terms for the treatment. These treatments are often called Photofacials or Fotofacials as well.

No real difference

AFT pulsed light and IPL are really the same thing. The Advanced Florescent Technology is employed in the Harmony machine by Alma. This technology reputedly converts unused ultraviolet light into the optimal spectrum for the particular need it is intended be it ridding brown spots, fine lines or whatever. . However, there is no major difference between AFT pulsed Light and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).
