Rarely is just one treatment needed. You will benefit from 1, but another in 12-18 months will also help. The biggest factor is how much correction you want, and how aggressive you want the treatment to be, and how much down time you want.

Active FX treatements compared to Fraxel
Active FX is an ablative laser versus the Fraxel restore is a non ablative laser. Active FX is ideal for treatment of facial photo aging. Results vary depending on each case and the settings used. In general one Active FX is equivalent to 5 or 6 conventional Fraxel Restore treatments for photoaging.
