What Acne Treatment Should I Follow?

I have been experiencing tiny bumps on my forehead and have tried almost everything possible. I schedule monthly facials and Microdermabrasion as well as having my second Isolaz treatment a few days ago. The tiny bumps on my forehead have become red, dry dots but still not smooth as I was hoping for. All of a sudden, my upper cheeks are slightly dry and itchy as well.

In 2004, my dermatologist prescribed Retin-A and Plexion cleanser, and my skin was flawless until I stopped using both products when I was officially acne free. I started breaking out again two years ago and was wondering if I should go back to using the same products several years ago or stick with what my new physician recommendations? I am currently using different cream, gentle cleanser from Cosmedix, and dermalogica active moist? Thanks so much.

I would certainly add a mild Retinoid. You need other topical medications, but I cannot tell which ones from your description. Chances are you would also benefit... more
