i have really nice nose when i was a kid and when i reach puberty i suffered from acne and blackheads, until now i still have them but the problem is my nose change its shape like the skin is very thick and the tip is bolbous so if i treat my acne will the skin of my nose goes back to normal? oh, and my acne now are between my cheecks i have no acne problems now in the nose but there is still acne marks on it....

Increased Nose Thickness with Acne and Rosacea

There are multiple skin diseases that can cause thickness of the nose including infectious, neoplastic and connective tissue disorders but the most common is Acne and Rosacea. In Acne/Rosacea, the sebaceous glands (oil glands) may enlarge and give the appearance of a bulbous nose. Rosacea and oily skin can result in rhynophyma, a thickened, misshapen nose if left untreated for a prolonged period of time. Usually once the changes have taken place, it's not possible to reverse them with just medications. Rhynophyma can be treated with laser resurfacing and electrocautery to reshape the nose.
