Chances of Acne Recurrence After Accutane?

I'd like to know if acne will come back after an Accutane course? What does it depend on? Thanks.

No way to be 100% sure

While Accutane is the most effective and predictable option for severe acne, it is not 100% of the time always a permanent cure. In my 25 years of use, I have found it does cure about 80% of acne sufferers. Some people, however, may need a second or third course. Total dosage related to remission and resolution, so go with the highest dose for your weight. Your board certified dermatologist will know what to do.
