Where to Find Quantitative Statistics on Accutane Averse Effects?

My son's doctors tell me that the side effects of Accutane are "rare," but they cannot quote me hard statistics of the users who have suffered from liver disease, depression/suicide, bone loss, etc.--not even within their own practice.
As a guardian, I must sign the iPledge registration with its myriad of frightening warnings; however, it provides no hard data that quantify the risks, and an on-line search has proved elusive.
I need reliable researches, in tandem with the anecdotal evidence, to help make this decision to help alleviate my son's pain, without the anxiety of placing him at greater risk.
Please help.
