Can Accutane Be Taken on an Empty Stomach?

My doctor said that accutane can be taken with empty stomach even though I read on the medication guide that oral absorption of isotretinoin is enhanced when given with high fat meal. Which one is correct?

Accutane works better with a full stomach

Since this  is  a  gastric absorption medication it is best to take   on  a full stomach--
