I just had my last spider vein laser treatment about a month ago (Oct.25th)and today(Dec.1st)I started to take Accutane 20mg (never taken Accutane before).I visited different forums to make sure this was o.k. for me to take, but most warnings are against taking Accutane before laser procedures, but my case is the opposite. Could Accutane pose a problem to the healing veins? I have one treated medium size vein that it is still taking a bit longer to fade away and it looks a bit bruised right now.

Surgical procedures before Accutane
There are no studies of the effects of Accutane on surgical procedures performed prior to starting Accutane itself. Many studies and articles do talk about what happens to surgical scars of procedures while on Accutane and within the first 6 months after Accutane. We know in that period there is an increased risk of hypertrophic scarring.
