Can I Take Accutane After Fractional CO2 Laser?

I just receive a Fractional CO2 treatment and my dermatologist prescribes me with 50mg/day of accutane for the very next day for four consecutive days. I asked him for a reason and he said it would be used to prevent acne from coming back. Should I really take the drugs as directed?
