2 Weeks Post Abdominoplasty and Male Breast Reduction: Can I Take an Occasional Hit of Cannabis?

I know the risks of smoking and using any sort of tobacco or nicotine product and have no plans to touch anything of that sort. I suffer from chronic migraines, both physical and optical, and the only thing I've found that helps is cannabis, so I wondered if it would be safe for me to take an occasional "hit" of cannabis. By that, I mean one single inhale every few days to a week. When I use it, the migraines tend to go away for a few days.

Cannabis and Gynecomastia

Studies have shown that there can be a direct link between smoking cannabis and the development of gynecomastia, after have gone through surgery I would think you would not want to risk it. You might want to check with your doctor about any new advances in treating migraines, for example the FDA recently approved Botox injections for the treatment of chronic migraine headaches.Good luck. see video

Marijuana for migraines 2 weeks after tummy tuck. Is this OK?

Calling marijuana cannabis makes it better, right? Unless you live in a state that has legalized marijuana for medical reasons, and have a valid prescription for medical marijuana, no one is going to OK this, even if someone thinks you are far enough healed to avoid the circulation-impairing aspects of inhaling any kind of smoke, nicotine-free or not! It's a bit like your surgeon telling you that alcohol stops his "shakes" so would it be OK to drink before operating on... more

Male Breast Reduction and Marijuana

I cant condone the use of Marijuana. It is an illegal drug. Also, there is an association of cannabis use and male breast enlargement. So, if a man has breast reduction surgery---usually liposuction---to decrease breast size, I cant say its "oK" to smoke cannabis! I would think that one would want to do things to help the healing process to obtain a favorable result. Cannabis use would not be a good idea. I have operated on a young man for... more
