I have extreme gas and bloating as the day goes on after eating. This condition was caused from bariatric surgery. By the end of the day I look 7 months pregnent or more, every night. If I have the ab muscle tightning surgery which ever is the best surgery for my condition, will it last forever or will my muscles become streched out again in time because of my condition? Also how much of a difference will the most aggresive surgery make? Alot or a little. Thanks so much for any help

Diastasis repair

If you are having bloating issues after bariatric surgery, you should talk to your surgeon. If you undergo adiastasis repair it will improve the protrusion, but I never saythe improvements are forever.

Nothing last forever, but it will still be better than what you have.

If you had the bypass type of surgery or weight loss that means that you were fairly large but what would make the muscles separate most is pregnancy and You do not say if that occurred. Were you to have an abdominoplasty with muscle tightening your appearance would almost certainly improve but will you be happy with it . If your bloating bothers you a great deal you should ask your surgeon what can be done to improve this. If it is reversed perhaps the gas will improve. more
