Post Full Abdominoplasty- Returning Hernia Symptoms. What's The Cause?
I had a 2 finger diastisis recti post 2 births with 4 mth preg bulge. Im slimmish build and tall. Now 6 weeks post full abdominoplasty, im sure hernia is back, i noticed bulging at week 5 (same place, upwards of my belly button).Have a reputable surgeon. He says review in 6 weeks due to tissue swelling. Im distressed due to COST and PAIN gone through! is this common? would swelling look like hernia bulge again, ie in the same place/shape albeit smaller (had mild cough in hospital post surgery).

You should really have this discussion with your board certified plastic surgeon who is hopefully a member of ASAPS.
A recurrent hernia can occur and is usually easily fixed.
Return to your surgeon.
