Does Botox work?

Hello,

Botulinum toxin works for some things but it is not good for all. While this may seem like common sense, it is not always heard the way it is meant. Botox will soften some facial lines but will not substitute for a facelift or a facial peel when more than a few wrinkles are the problem.

A: Botox is an excellent product

Botox is an excellent solution for smoothing facial wrinkles around the eyes.  In particular it works very well for the forehead, the area between the eyes and the crow's feet -- the wrinkles on the outer edge of each eye that show when smiling.

Lots of consumers get confused about how Botox is used and in which areas of the face, but for the areas noted, it is extremely effective at smoothing wrinkles caused by muscle contraction.
