Fat grafting is a very popular technique

Hisham Seify, MD, PhD answers: Would Brazilian Butt Lift help fix my hips?

I am a 20 year old female and I’m considering a Brazilian butt lift, but I’m not sure if it will fix my concerns.

My buttocks are fine, perky and full. I wouldn't mind them being a little bigger. I just have no hips and I feel as though it throws my whole silhouette off. (I also feel like I may be asymmetrical)

My measurements are 34-26-34. I would love for my measurements to be 34-24-37. Any suggestions? Would a Brazilian butt lift fix my hipless problem or should I consider another procedure?

The brazilian procedure is a fat grafting to the buttock area. If you do this you will have more projection of the buttocks. If your concern is the hip area, I would suggest liposuction and fat grafting to add more volume to this area specificaly. Regarding numbers, no one will be able to help you with exact numbers but at least you get the shape you want. Also make sure you are very clear about your communication with your surgeon.

A: You may be happy with Liposuction of the hips alone

By looking at your photo and reading your comments, it seems that your buttocks are full enough and firm enough. The fullness in your hips, though, is giving you more of a square shape in that area and detracting from your curves. By removing the excess fat from the hips with liposuction, your waistline with be enhanced and the transition to your buttocks will be more dramatic. You may use this fat to correct lack of fullness if there is some asymmetry in the buttock area but I think a conservative approach may be best for you. I wish you the best of luck!
