One syringe of Restylane is appropriate for upper and lower lips.
When patients receive 2 or more, it is usually because additional, nearby areas are treated, such as the corners of the mouth, lateral chin, grooves and lines, etc. You should be aware that the only FDA approved use for Restylane is the nasolabial groove, but experienced physicians commonly use HA fillers in other areas.
