am i wasting time asking insurance to cover botox?  I do have terrible deep lines and it affects my ability to get good paying jobs.

Unfortunately, unless you have a cosmetic rider on your insurance it is very unlikely that they will cover Botox (especially Botox Cosmetic).

You may want to make a quick call or have the doctor's office call on your behalf to verify coverage.
