Hello
There are many factors that go into how much one pays for a blepharoplasty and many of the answers have already gone into them, so I won't repeat them.
One final piece of the pie is overhead. That is, rent in some parts of the country may be twice what they are elsewhere. I know that nurses in California make twice as much as they do in some other states, so your surgeon is paying rent, salaries, malpractice insurance, etc. All these vary widely state by state.
Now, if there is a huge variability within one city, I would always worry about the person doing it on the cheap. Do they have the same safety standards in their operating room. Is the operating room certified, the anesthesiologis certified, and the physician certified in plastic surgery?
