The HA's can give very nice results, are long lasting but are temporary.

Sanjay Grover, MD answers: Why do so many doctors recommend Juvederm?

When it comes to cosmetic injections, doctors usually recommend the same products - Juvederm, Restylane, etc. Are doctors paid to recommend certain products and if not, why are these better than some of the other injectables out there?

Juvederm and Restylane are a type of substance known as hyaluronic acid (HA). They are very nice dermal fillers as they can be soft and last a while, but not too long. Remember, you will continue to age and your face will undergo changes. It is nice to not have a product that may be permanent and not 'age' appropriately with your face. A very important factor to achieve a nice result with a filler is, of course, your injector.
