While we understand how important cost is in any elective medical service, we have treated hundreds of patients at our practice that have put price ahead of results (and safety) in their search for a laser hair removal practitioner. In these situations, the patients are paying for a 2nd laser hair removal package with us because the discount treatments did not work.
While cheap does not necessarily mean bad and expensive does not necessarily mean good, you should know what to look for when choosing a laser hair removal practitioner.
- Do they have the right laser for your skin type?
- How many procedures have they performed?
- What are the training requirements for the staff?
- Does the consent paperwork clearly spell out any risks of the procedure?
- Has the practitioner patiently answered your questions?
- What is the expectation for # of treatments? (this affects total price)
- What is the expected % of hair loss?
- How often will treatments be performed?
All of these questions are designed to ensure that you have an experienced practitioner with the right laser performing your treatments.
