There are so many nonsurgical options for facial rejuvenation these days that it can be confusing. And when you think about all the promises made by some of these companies promoting all these options, it's really mind-boggling and hard to sort through the trash and treasure.
Nonsurgical options will get you nonsurgical results. Botox or Dysport can smooth lines and wrinkles in your forehead, around your eyes, between your brows, and possibly around your mouth and in your neck. Good skin care and lifestyle choices (sunblock, lots of water, etc) can improve skin texture and pore size. Fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Sculptra, Radiesse) can fill hollows in the face and give you a more youthful shape. Laser treatments (Fotofacial, Refirme, Matrix IR, Matrix RF, Pearl, CO2, etc) can tighten skin, improve texture, and smooth lines. And finally, a facelift will fix what all these others things can't: significant loose skin in the lower face and neck and jowling along the jawline.
Remember that it's often a combination of treatments that gives the best overall results. You shouldn't consider a facelift without also considering skin care, for instance. Many people are on a "maintenance" program of nonsurgical options before and/or after a facelift, for instance.
