What you should know before having breast augmentation

There are several things you should consider before having breast augmentation and include the following:

• Is your surgeon Board Certified in Plastic Surgery?
  
• How much experience do they have in breast augmentation?
  
• What is the quality of their before/after photos?
  
• Do you feel comfortable with the surgeon?
  
• Do you feel comfortable with their staff?
  
• Do they offer to let you speak with former patients?
  
• What is their local reputation?

These are all incredibly important questions to ask yourself when moving forward with breast augmentation.  As you may notice, the one question I did not include is price.  What your surgery costs should be the least important question.  Keep in mind that all surgeries are unpredictable to some extent.  As such, you should always go with a surgeon whose practice is focused in this area and whom you feel comfortable with.  It costs a lot more to fix a bad result that it does to get it right the first time around.
