Must be a marketing term

I do not believe that this is a scientific term but instead a marketing term created by someone or some entity to make it appear as if they have some unique treatment or remedy.

I2PL is the term used by Ellipse, the company who invented and patented dual mode filtering technique for IPL systems. An I2PL system use the same kind of light source as other IPL systems, however it provides much more precision and safety.
