What is Dysport

Elizabeth S. Lee, MD answers: What is Dysport?

Can you give me more information about the wrinkle treatment called Dysport?

Dysport is a Botulinum toxin newly approved by the FDA.  It works in much the same way as Botox Cosmetic to relax muscles in the face, particularly those between the eyebrows to improve or eliminate the lines that can make us look angry.

Dysport has been carefully studied and is as safe and as effective as Botox.  It is sold by a different company than Botox and is less expensive. So hurray for competition!
