Do not judge the final size at two weeks

Francisco Canales, MD answers: What happens after my breast reduction?

What happens if I have my 690cc breast implants (D cup) I got 2 weeks ago removed, and get my old 390cc (C cup) ones? Will my breasts look stretched if I change to a smaller size implant? I need help I hate the size of my new implants.

Hello

Changing from 390 cc to 690 cc implants required making your pocket bigger and stretching of the tissues. Undoubtedly you have a significant amount of swelling.  I would not judge the final size until about 6 weeks after surgery.  Going back now would mean operating on friable tissues and not being able to judge what size to put in.  The last thing you want is to do this a third time and still be unhappy. So wait a little longer and make a decision together with your surgeon. Hang in there during this tough time.
