What can I expect during LipoSelection recovery?

In my experience, most patients recover faster following VASER LipoSelection as compared to patients treated with conventional liposuction. They shower the day following their surgery and are asked to walk every few hours to reduce their risk for venous stasis and remain well hydrated.

In addition, all patients wear a compressive garment for six weeks to more evenly reduce swelling and encourage symmetric contraction and shaping of treated areas. Activity is gradually resumed following surgery and most patients actually return to early light physical exertion within two weeks. From there, an activity plan is individualized for them as well as appropriate dietary recommendations.
