Careful what you see on the internet...Visible scars above bikinis are hard to look at and cripple patients after surgery with regard to what they can and cannot wear. Speak with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon about where scars are placed during surgery and where they will "ride" after surgery....a surgeon who performs a significant number of tummy tucks will have an eye and a fine-tuned system to help direct you.
Every patient has individual anatomy and individual taste in clothes (bikinis) after surgery. My goals are to hide all scars after surgery and I think having a patient wear her "desired" clothes on the day I mark them before surgery is the best way to make sure the scars are hidden afterward.
Check your surgeons photos before and after to see where scars lie...
I hope this helps!
