What's the Best Treatment for Fordyce Spots?

I'm looking for treatment for Fordyce Spots on the upper lip. I'm hesitant to use anything that has a high risk of scarring or Hyperpigmentation. I know CO2 is risky but effective. How does it compare to Pulsed Dye Lasers?

I've heard that PDL can cause tissue to become much darker? Is Erbium more risky than CO2? I was thinking of various Fraxel/Fractional lasers but spots come back most likely.

Other treatment I considered was Accutane until the spots vanished then tretinoin or jojoba oil as maintenance to keep the spots away or hormone therapy if I have hypergonadism.
