How long does swelling last after Restylane injections in the nose?

Early swelling with Restylane and other hyaluronic acid fillers is common and usually takes a few days to a week or so to go away down to the actual filler amount that remains for several months as a correction.  If more swelling persists than desired beyond one or two weeks, then it is possible that more of the product was placed than is ideal or it migrated during or shortly after placement.  If this is the case, then waiting several weeks to months often allows improvement in the area.  At times hyaluronidase is injected into the area where hyaluronic acid was placed to help it disappear more quickly.
