I would like to get scar subcision done, but was wondering if I can get it about a month after a Restylane injection? Would the filler make subcision less effective? What would happen if I did so?
I know that fillers after subcision is a good idea, but what if it is reversed? I got Restylane injected into my scars a week ago and I want to get subcision done in a month.
Is it possibile to get subcision done after a filler? Or should I wait 6 months or so for the Restylane to subside before I go on with subcision?
I will do some subcision before filler in two areas of the face. The laugh lines and the glabellar furrow. So just before injection to these areas, if the fold or wrinkle has a heavy dermal attachment component, I will take a needle and gently release it, then fill it. This may cause a slight bruise, but in the end it helps smooth the fold.
