Tummy tuck can remove some scars

I have a vertical scar from approximately the top of my rib cage, down passed my navel just above my underwear line. It is an operation scar from a splenectomy and in my opinion it is hideous. Can a Tummy Tuck or any form of plastic surgery remove it or lessen its appearance?

Hello,

Some scars can be removed in whole or part with tummy tuck surgery. Others make the tummy tuck surgery more perilous as the blood supply of the skin is affected. You need a good evaluation to have your scar and your tummy evaluated for possible surgery.
