Smartlipo versus Ultrashape

Is Smartlipo better than Ultrashape?

Ultrashape is a non-invasive treatment which claims to destroy fat cells.  I have not used it, but looking at their before and after pictures on their company website, I would have to say that these would not be acceptable results unless you are looking for minimal change on targeted ares.

Smartlipo uses a laser to destroy the fat cells.  I then use a very small traditional liposuction cannula to suck out the melted fat.  Smartlipo is also good for targeted areas but not indicated for total body or major liposuction.

For the most dramatic results, you should consider power-assisted liposuction using the tumescent technique in a hospital or surgicenter setting.  This technique allows the surgeon to be the most aggressive and remove the most fat.

So, the decision is really how much a difference you are looking to achieve.
