There are many variables which enter into choosing the ideal implant. You've already established that you are petite frame, however there are other considerations, which can be classified as Patient factors, Implant factors and Doctor factors.
IMPLANT FACTORS: Saline implants tend to project (stick out further from the chest wall) compared to silicone. The style of the implant will influence the shape of the breast, so the high profile implants project more but may leave a larger gap between the breasts; essentially sacrificing cleavage. Ideally an implant shouldn't displace into the armpits, so choose one, whose diameter corresponds to the width of your chest.
PATIENT FACTORS: You need to factor in what kind of activities are important to you. If you are athletic, excessively augmented breasts will probably get in the way. If you have very little breast tissue, you may be better served with a silicone gel implant, which more effectively masquerades the edge of the implant. If you are short waisted, a wide, flat implant generally blends your chest with your abdomen and creates the illusion of "fatness".
DOCTOR FACTORS: Choose your consultant well. You deserve a surgeon who will support you through the preop, intraop and postop phases of your surgery. Good luck.
