Richard P. Rand, MD answers: Severely depressed by new breast implants

I had breast implants put in a week ago they are 400hp silicone gel.  I was trying to go from a 34A to a 34C cup (under the muscle). I am only 5'7" 115pounds. I look huge and I am severely depressed. I want them out! What should I do...i can't stand how they look.

It isn't uncommon for someone to feel that their size is an issue early after surgery. This can either be too big or too small. Please realize that you are swollen right now and need 3 months or so before you will see the final result. Surround yourself with your best supportive friends and family to help you through this process. After healing you can discuss the final size with your doctor and see whether you need to make any changes.

The high profile implants do cause a dramatically full result and hopefully you and your surgeon communicated preop about what you wanted in the upper pole of the breast after surgery.
