Sculptra Aesthetic is NOT to be used in the eyelids

Nathan Mayl, MD answers: Safer option for sunken under eyes other than Sculptra?

I'm concerned about Sculptra bumps/lumps under my eyes. I'm scheduled to have Sculptra done on the 3rd. I'm concerned about the horror stories, lumps/bumps under the eyes. Is there any other treatments that are safer to treat sunken areas under the eyes?

Sculptra Aesthetic is our preferred material for creating fullness in the cheeks, chin, and along the jawline.

It should not be used in either the lower or upper lids.

I doubt that your physician is planning to use it in your lids.

Properly injected material does not move into the lids from elsewhere.

The horror stories you have read were typically due to product being injected into the lids
