A non-surgical or surgical Rhinoplasty can address small nasal hump

Phillip Chang, MD answers: Rhinoplasty for natural hump?

I have a tiny natural hump on my nose. Should I undergo Rhinoplasty?

A small nasal hump can be addressed by both a nonsurgical rhinoplasty or a surgical rhinoplasty. As a busy rhinoplasty surgeon, I tailor my procedure to the anatomy and desires of my patients. A surgical approach to removing a small nasal hump is relatively routine and permanent; and I perform this procedure a lot.

Some of my patients, however, are reluctant to have a surgery; for those patients, a nonsurgical rhinoplasty works very well to camouflage the hump. Although this approach is not permanent; it can be performed in 15 minutes with no down-time.
