Fraxel Repair for Early Stages of Rhinophyma?

Are the very early stages of rhinophyma treatable with the Fraxel Repair? My doctor felt the regular CO2 would be too aggressive since the rhinophyma is very slight, with hardly noticeable skin thickening. If I look closely, I can see some thickening. Would you say Fraxel Repair would be a good option? Or perhaps some sort of a chemical peel? Please advise as I would like to act soon. Thank you!
