After liposuction, you are required to wear a compression garment for 4 weeks to help minimize swelling. Some swelling and bruising is completely normal. Massaging any malleable areas will help prevent any irregularities in the area. You are not able to shower for 1 week to avoid any risks of infection. Make sure you are at your goal weight when having this precedure done. Weight loss can affect results. Final results can be seen between 4-6 months.
