Puffiness after Mohs surgery

Bryan K. Chen, MD answers: Puffiness after Mohs Surgery

I had Mohs surgery done on my face just below the eye 5 weeks ago. There is still some puffiness in the area. Is this normal and if so, is there something I can do to relieve it?

This puffiness after your Mohs procedure is normal.  You can try gentle manual massaging of the area to encourage the fluid to leave that area.  If a flap repair was done, you should see gradual improvement over the next couple of months.
