Prominent Chest or Constricted Breast?

Kevin Brenner, MD answers: Round profile Breast implants for patient with prominent chest?

I am a 75A wishing for a 75C. I also have a very prominent chest wall – bony and the 2nd bones after the ones sloping outwards. I have been to 3 surgeons the options are as follows: anatomical 325cc, anatomical 300cc left and 325cc right (they are different but not so prominent sometimes) and round 300cc.

Round will be more of a peace of mind but is it possible in my condition to have them round?

From your photograph, it appears that your chest prominence is less of a problem than is your breast deformity. Your right breast is somewhat underdeveloped and is a mild form of what is called "constricted breast deformity" or "tuberous breast deformity." In your case, correction of the right lower breast fold is going to be the most difficult portion. I do not think that it matters whether you go with an anatomical or round implant, though I feel that round implants generally look more natural once healed.
