I have used permalip implants recently to replace the nonpermanent lip procedures such a fat grafting, alloderm, and dermal fillers. The results have been gret in providing a soft and natural result. It can be performed under local anesthesia and in only 15 minutes. There are several sizes and widths to choose from to match your lips. You do have to understand that there still is a risk for infection and need for removal if this happens but it can be replaced if desired.
