What if I am just recently 40, in great physical shape (work-out six days a week), and have a thickness around the neck, under my chin? Are there alternatives other than plastic surgery for this condition?

Non surgical methods for neck contouring.
I have watched probably the same infomercials as you touting some neck exercise pump that seems ot improve neck/chin contours. While this makes no sense to me, the results seem impressive and there are no risks other than the costs involved.
Perhaps you should report back your experience if it works
