Scar Revision
Hello,
Scar revision is the best technique if the scar is wide or raised. Sometimes treating the scar with a pulse dye laser will help soften it. Hope this helps answer your question.

"Permanent" scar reduction
What is "permanent" is the scar. Any attempt to reduce its visibility would be considered revisions. These can be done surgically by a plastic surgeon if it is deemed necesary. Otherwise, creams, massage, sun avoidance, and sometimes lasers can minimize the appearance of a facial scar.
