Is It Worth It to Undergo a Minor Scar Revision?

I was stitched up a little over a year ago, not by a plastic surgeon, unfortunately. The main concern is the indent that it makes. Since its near the lip, it moves when I speak. The goal of the revision would be to make the scar as narrow as possible, so not to have such a serious indent. I want to know how the scar revision would be conducted, and if I should expect a longer scar (since im replacing scars). What kind of stitches would be used? I visited one plastic surgeon who wouldnt revise, saying the scar was flush as is.
