Of course it is more "attractive" to have anything be a mini -- mini cost, incision, recovery etc.
However, if your needs are not in the "mini" category, then you can be disappointed. I have preformed many "re-do's" in cases where the patient underwent a mini or thread lift procedure. While there was improvement following this "mini" procedure, the patient was unhappy.
What went wrong? In my opinion, the key in these cases was the lack of communication between the patient and the doctor. The doctor and the patient need to be on the same page. Following a vertical Facelift, the patients were happy.
Thus, you should spend the time to make sure that your expectations are clearly understood and that the doctor has the experience to perform the right procedure for you.
