Microdermabrasion can be helpful for mild comedonal acne (blackheads & whiteheads), although there are very effective creams and sometimes pills used for acne which can be just as effective, and often more effective at less of an expense. I personally prefer chemical peels to microdermabrasion. See your dermatologist to discuss your best treatment options.
