When Will Swelling from Mesotherapy Go Away?

From everything I read written by doctors, they tell you it swelling will be mild and will go away in a couple of days. HOWEVER, I had injections in my face a week ago and I looked like the fat lady sings on crack! I still have two half golfball size lumps in my jowl area and it still hurts - though much better than it was. I think if they told us before we did any of these procedures what we would really go through, we'd all chicken out. I can't give you an answer because I will be very shocked if my swelling actually goes away in the next couple of days. Very hot as well - but not infected. Bruised too.
