Removal of spots on face

Barry E. DiBernardo, MD answers: Laser Resurfacing for brown spots?

I am 47 years old. My face has lots brown spots. Is Laser Resurfacing the best treatment to rid off those spots? Or there is a better treatment for it.

You have several choices, best done if a doctor is looking at your face. You can remove some spots topically, we use the Obagi System, and you do this at home. For more stubborn areas, laser would be better depending on you color of skin as well. Some lasers just remove spots only and others that resurface can treat the pigmentation as well as fine wrinkles and some skin tightening. For this, we use the Pearl Laser.

In any case, your condition should be able to be treated.
